Since 2020, Subaru, John Kennedy Subaru, and the Philadelphia Union have come together over a shared belief in the power of good. Whether it's protecting our environment by becoming the first MLS soccer stadium to be zero-landfill, caring for those in need, helping pets get adopted, or supporting and empowering our youth, we are dedicated to creating the greatest impact possible.

The first zero-landfill stadium in MLS.
With Subaru’s long history of environmentalism and zero-landfill expertise, along with the Philadelphia Union’s innovative, forward-thinking initiatives, we have helped make Subaru Park the first zero-landfill stadium in Major League Soccer. In fact, Subaru Park has diverted over 1.2 million pounds of waste from landfills.

Subaru Loves the Earth
We are committed to protecting our planet and helping our community in the process. Through Subaru Park’s Garden for Good, over 6,800 pounds of organic food have been donated to area food banks. Additionally, for every Union goal throughout the season, 25 trees are planted in the surrounding community. That’s 3,400 trees planted so far.
Subaru Loves to Help
We are dedicated to bringing the love of the game to every part of Greater Philadelphia. Through the Gear for Good initiative, we’ve donated over 1,000 pieces of soccer equipment to kids who need it. Additionally, we have recognized over 50 local playmakers at Union matches for making a difference in our community.
Subaru Loves to Care
For families facing illness, care and compassion can go a long way. That’s why Subaru and its greater Philadelphia retailers have provided VIP game experiences to over 100 families facing childhood cancer.
Subaru Loves Pets
As part of our mission to help pets find loving homes, we host pet adoption event at Subaru Park before Union home games. So far, we’ve helped nearly 500 pets get adopted.
Subaru Loves Learning
Because we believe that everyone deserves a fair and equal opportunity at a quality education, for two years, Subaru and the Union have adopted all 20 classrooms of Stetser Elementary School, impacting over 250 students.
